Under the new VMware SDDC Modernization offering, the WWCC delivers high volume assessment and migration engagementsIn this opportunity, you will play the role of a technology specialist, providing customer guidance by facilitating technical workshops, creation of low-level designs and implementation of use cases into high-quality solutions. In addition to customer facing responsibilities, you would also provide technical input to other business units, pre-sales and drive best practices in the form of document creation. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completingYou will be expected to effectively work as part of a wider project team or independently act as technical lead on migration engagements.You should be able to identify process gaps and work with the team to address themIn collaboration with other team members, you should be able to build a scalable and efficient model for NSX-V to NSX-T migrations and assessmentsTake ownership and accountability for individual deliverables. Proactively define project requirements/issues/constraints/risks and address them with PMsYou should be able to effectively collaborate within different product workstreams within the team and with Business units, identify current gaps and find a way to bridge themThe Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Perform a pre-migration assessment of NSX-V to NSX-TReview and validate your and other team members assessment reportsDrive customer facing and internal project calls along with project managers and provide technical guidanceDesigning, planning and execution of NSX-V to NSX-T migration Understanding of various 3rd party integrations with NSX-T and highlight any interoperability issuesWork with product engineering team and resolve issues faced during assessment and migrationWork with various BU’s for successful migration of NSX-V to NSX-TWhat is the leadership like for this role?
