This position is a multi-faceted role which operates as an extension of Engineering & Product Management, as well as traditional Tier 1-3 Technical Support duties with primary focus on new and emerging cloud services & products. This role will also take part in supporting the legacy Datrium DVX dHCI platform through the end of its life.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? You will be expected to build and manage team working on multiple SaaS Services with a focus on software delivery, resiliency, and customer happiness. You are required to accommodate VCDR growth, as well as ongoing net new NPI activities (new product, new feature/function introduction). This position will also provide a measure of relief to the existing for on-call rotations and DHCI support.You will contribute to creating a team culture of critical thinking, creativity, innovation, experimentation, collaboration, diversity and inclusiveness, openness and transparency that aligns with the team’s and VMware’s core values.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? You will collaborate with your peers in VCDR team and across broader VMware team to drive the roadmap and implementation of various features and functionality for the VCDR product.Identify, characterise, solve & recover from problems raised to Technical Services teamProject Leadership for assigned special projects and/or duties, with weekly reporting cadenceAssist and/or lead the development and implementation of relevant Best Practices & Process improvements.Participate in managing & monitoring of customer SaaS environments & services.What is the leadership like for this role?
