Data Science Internship in 3D MetalsDescription -At HP Sant Cugat (Barcelona), we have an impressive 2300+ employees, made up of 60+ different nationalities. We host 12 businesses and are the worldwide HQ of the 3D Printing and the Large Format​ Printing businesses and the EMEA HQ for the Graphics Solutions Business. We also have the largest HP R&D Lab outside of the US and a fantastic Demo center.3D metals Process control is key to achieve high-yield objectives. To do so, we need to identify, monitor and control the key process parameters.This Internship position will help develop tools and report data from current process to enable monitor and control the 3D metals process.Specifically, the intern will support the Writing Systems of R&D team in the 3D metals Barcelona organization in Sant Cugat del Valles. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop Scripts and Visualization methods to monitor 3D metals process critical parameters:Report data to the 3D metals process engineer and to the Writing System team.Create visual reports , enable basic data reporting infrastructure and link with the Telemetry and Data Team.Help develop tests to identify critical process parameters. Help analyzing data and extract conclusions and recommendations. EDUCATIONCurrently at last year of Bachelor´s or Master´s in Computer Science, Informatics, Physics or Data Science.Engineers with Knowledge of Computer Science can be also eligible.  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Python scripting skills.Ability to conduct hypothesis tests, correlation tests, regression analysis and modelingAbility in statistical analysis using Python/RExperience with data visualization tools (PowerBI,Tableau) or similar frameworks as Dash or BokehExperience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra/Hbase/Redis)Experience with GitHub ABOUT YOU: Fluent EnglishContent design, Presentation, Graphic design skills ProactivityStrong team worker What we offerInternship agreement between university, company, studentPaid Internship Flexible schedule for part time (4h/day) for a 9 to12 months agreement.Lunch in the cafeteriaLove sports?
