HP Large Format Production Technical ConsultantDescription -The Large Format Production business is part of the Graphics Solutions Business inside HP.HP has held a leadership position in large format printing for over 20 years and today enjoys worldwide leadership and a well-earned high market share position. The business is focusing on HP Latex product solutions, which are sold transactional through HP certified resellers.  Some of these markets are mature and others are growing but all are experiencing changes in their adoption, purchase methods and use of printing.For supporting the consultative selling model we are looking for a Large Format Presales consultant.The position provides presales technical consultancy support to HP sales teams, authorized resellers and end customers across the Eastern-Europe-region.As a Large Format Technical Consultant, your responsibilities will include:Providing pre-sales support for authorized resellers and HP Sales team in regards to analyzing current customer workflows and designing, documenting and implementing HP Large Format solutions.Assist HP and authorized Resellers to analyse and propose solutions to win deals.Work with Marketing and Category to plan participation in industry trade shows including taking the lead to ensure setup and proper functionality of the solution in coordination within HP or Reseller designated booth space.Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of HP processes, systems and tools related to configuring, pricing and promoting the Large Format Production solutions to resellers and end user customers.Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends, innovations and competitive solutions.An ideal candidate would:Have experience in large format printing environments targeting markets large format indoor/outdoor applications, decoration, vehicle graphics, flatbed applications, dye-sub textile and industrial large format printing applications.Have in-depth knowledge of workflow solutions from Print Service ProvidersHave demonstrated ability to make a technical analysis of current customer workflow, and design and document a new workflow, including implementation plan, fitting to customer needs. Would include integration of HP solution elements into multi-vendor environments.Have ability to demonstrate this tailored workflow to print service providers.Have demonstrated ability to train sales team members, channel partners and end customers in the efficient operation of a comprehensive production workflow.Have strong troubleshooting as well as commercial skills and demonstrated creativity to help solve complex solution integration issues.Excellent understanding of Large Format Printing solutions and especially HP Latex and HP Stitch technology.Knowledge about other printing technologies like UV, Dye-sub and Solvent printers.Expertise regarding software solutions e.g. Caldera, Ergosoft, SAI and Onyx.Qualifications:Technical University or Bachelor's Degree5-10 years of professional experience in digital printing, analog printing, color management, RIP software, large format printingExperience in the Large Format industry specifically supporting high production environments in technical consultative selling and account management.Proven customer-facing responsibilities on customer support escalation managementMature, professional and demonstrated ability to work independent of supervisionDetail oriented, articulate, and well-organizedStrong English written and oral communication skills plus local language (Polish or Czech)Team player and able to maintain a positive outlookExcellent presentation Skills#LI-POSTJob -SalesSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Poland)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
