Lead Data ScientistDescription -Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.ResponsibilitiesTechnically lead large enterprise level complex machine learning projects. Use latest techniques & methodologies in projects to optimize benefits for business. Responsible for E2E cyber security approval & creating a secure machine learning solution.  Ownership of algorithms selected in machine learning solution, the responsibility will lie with lead data scientist.  Responsible for explaining models of own project & creating model explainability framework for HP Finance.  Responsible for building scalable, auditable and reproducible ML pipelines.  Create frameworks and playbooks for machine learning components like experimentation, model monitoring system, automated testing to support CICD etc. Also responsible for driving their adoption within advanced analytics team and HP Finance.  Mentor and guide mid-level and junior data scientists within advanced analytics team and HP Finance.  Write whitepapers & publications on own work & develop an ecosystem and culture within Advanced Analytics team to create new literature. Effectively communicate insights, model predictions and explain models in non-technical language to stakeholders/clients   Experience Required: Extensive experience in ML algorithms, ML pipeline and Productionalising ML solutions to solve complex business problems using machine learning. Master in diverse programming skills (Python, Spark, SQL, Power BI etc.), techniques to secure ML solution, auditing of ML solution etc.  Understanding of data engineering components like data structures, data modelling and software architecture etc. Experience in ML platforms like Databricks, Amazon SageMaker, experience in building & deploying solutions in cloud environment like Microsoft Azure, AWS etc.  Worked directly with clients and stakeholders to explain model insights and predictions in non-technical language. Education: Master's degree or higher in one or more of the following quantitative disciplines, i.e. Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Economics, Computer Science etc. #LIPOSTJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (India)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
