Solutions Architect Managed Services - Central & Eastern Europe Market Services & SolutionsDescription -Job scope/summary:As part of the Central & Eastern Europe Market Services & Solutions Pursuit team, we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to help us accelerate our growth in the contractual service business for Personal Systems.  Deals are primarily multi-country and include managed workplace services, cybersecurity, field support, device lifecycle services, financing.  The Solution Architect is a customer-facing role within the pursuit team, working in close collaboration with sales, engagement leaders and delivery teams.  The Solution Architect applies subject matter knowledge to solve complex technical and business issues, stretches existing service capabilities and recommends appropriate alternatives. He/she works on problems of diverse complexity and scope.  Is responsible for creating technical solutions, cost models, transition plans, technical proposals, service descriptions and customer presentations.Opportunity AnalysisUnderstands end to end solutions which best address customer needsDevelops business and technology roadmap and strategy for the customerCreates value and constantly qualifies for HPEvaluates client budget, pricing, and allowable costs of solutionIdentifies probable competition, evaluates relative strengthsIdentifies services opportunities for HP in customer's enterprise information technology and business processesContributes to solution strategy and preparation of business cases and ROI/TCO calculations Solution DesignDesigns custom services solutions to meet client requirementsAnalyzes customer inventories, produce services cost models, asset leasing and takeover scenariosDevelops technical proposals, statements of work, transition plans, pricing exhibitsDesigns services, service level agreements and transformation plansNegotiates scope and costs with third party suppliers and internal delivery teamsCaptures risks, associated costs and designs mitigation plansEnsures that any solution elements within their scope contribute to an innovative value proposition.Integrates multi-supplier solutions and evaluates impact on other solution elementsEnsures optimal costs on each deal, using cost benchmarking, standard tools and thorough negotiations with Delivery.Participates in due diligence activities and integrates results of findings into solution and costCustomer RelationshipEngages client's IT and business staff and management.Identifies client's business and technical requirements.Understands which offerings best address customer needs.Considers client growth path, client scalability of elements of solution.Builds strong professional relationships with key IT and business executives globallyIs perceived as a trusted technical advisor by the customerManages problem resolution and customer satisfaction issues through strong partnering capabilitiesEducation and professional experience requiredTechnical university or Bachelor preferred or equivalent experience5+ years’ experience in solution architecture, workplace services design, IT infrastructure consulting or sellingIT Service Management, Delivery Management, Workplace or Infrastructure Services DesignTechnical certifications, recognitions, awardsTechnical skills and certificationsExpert knowledge of MS Excel, ability to use advanced data analysis functionsVery good understanding of workplace/end user compute industry, service providers, technologies, trends and innovationsSolid knowledge of key workplace service processes such as end user support, field services, device deployments, software distribution, user persona profiling, user experience management, service level managementTechnical knowledge of Windows Client Architecture & Security, Software and OS Management tools & techniques, Group Policies, Authentication, Unified Endpoint Management, Cloud ServicesITIL, TOGAF, Microsoft 365 certificationsLanguage requirementsFluent German & English to write, present and negotiate proposals and contractsOther European languages, like French or Polish, would be an assetPersonal skills and qualitiesCustomer oriented with strong presentation and negotiation skillsStrong teamwork and leadership skills to drive solution team members towards contract signatureAbility to interact comfortably with all levels of customer managementStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and thinking out of the boxIs deal-focused, meeting tight deadlinesIs creative and adapts to customer needs rather than providing "boiler plate" responsesDemonstrates ability to work as a contributing team member for large complex projectsWe are looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works.
