To engineer experiences that amaze. The intern student will work in the PPSC (Print Procurement & Strategic Commodities) organization. As an intern student you’ll work in a worldwide team of engineers focused on the development and industrialization of the new Large Format and 3D printers. The position will help you understand the different technologies used in our printers, the supply chain definition process, supplier selection and data management. You’ll be in direct contact with supplier managers allowing you to grow in partner management and negotiation techniques as well as in technology and manufacturing processes knowhow.We at HP strive for quality. In Central Direct Procurement Services we have developed a new quality management software to track the parts’ quality of large format printers. We are looking for a proactive and good communicatorstudent to support the maintenance and implementation of this software and be part of the Continuous Quality Control team.Main Tasks:Support quality tasks: analyze quality data, follow up on improvement actions and audits.Work with HP Sourcing Engineers in the definition of quality plans of the parts in the software.Work with external suppliers for the submission of quality data (trainings, weekly communication to follow up with them, solve issues).Support the development of improvements and the correct operation of the software.Support the PPSC Polymer and Organic Materials team in the different technologies management, cost models and supplier risk evaluation.Work with our Supplier Relationship Managers to consolidate vendor information that enables a solid supply chain together with cost reduction ideas.Participate in supplier development projects and in cost reduction initiatives.Requirements in Education and Experience:Currently studying third year of bachelor’s in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or similar)English level advanced and strong communication skillsOrganized, methodical and proactive.TeamworkWhat we offerInternship agreement between university, company, studentPaid Internship Flexible schedule for part time (4h/day) for a 9 to12 months agreement.Lunch in the cafeteriaLove sports?
