Audio Firmware Engineer (HyperX)Description -We are proactively seeking a well-rounded audio firmware engineering talent who will join HyperX team to deliver audio products such as Headphones, TWS, Microphones, Mixers for Gaming market. Work with internal design team and collaborate with external suppliers to develop the new product design through into mass production. Responsibilities: Define firmware specification, command set protocols, and development timeline for audio products.Coordinate and communicate with multiple project stakeholders (PM/PLM/ODM/Suppliers/…) to carry through firmware development milestones.Define and manage firmware version controls to align with PLC scheduling.Verify firmware test codes/patches/releases functionalities. Work with suppliers to identify and analyze root causes for spotted issues.Unit Test firmware to ensure functions meet expectations.Basic Qualifications:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent firmware project management skillsExtensive experience working with various Audio Codecs and DSPs.Well experienced with various interface protocols (e.g. USB, UART, I2S, SPI, I2C)Experience developing audio algorithms on MCUs or SoCs ranging from basic high-pass filter to advanced HRTFsKnowledge in USB HIDPreferred Qualifications:IC Design/ODM/JDM coding experiences in audio product firmware development, working with Branding customers is a strong plus.Experience with Bluetooth Audio on SoCs is a strong plus.Experience with board-level debugging on various interfacesExperience with wireless protocols for audio streaming.Equipped with in-house firmware development skillsets.Sharp and fast learner capable of picking up different systems for various DSPs and SoCs.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent preferredMinimum 5 year experience.#LI-POSTJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Taiwan)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
