You will have the opportunity to collaboratively contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas to develop a Customer Data Platform for HP.You will successfully operate in the most complex disciplines, disciplines in which the company must shine in order to be successful. We will look to you to lead and support team of data engineers, and data scientist that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives, where you will be able to provide highly-innovative solutions to bring the world class customer experience for HP solutions. You will collaboratively participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to less experienced employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction.Responsibilities:Develops and cultivates organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software applications design and development across multiple platforms and organizations within the HP.Define conceptual and build a Customer Data platform from grounds up . Engages IT, business and Customer Experience management, key presenter and influencer, trusted advisor.Designs and establishes secure and performant data architectures, enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of data pipelines, repositories or models for structured/unstructured data.Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of data system or component; identifies and debugs, and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into data system architecture.Leads a project team of other data engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned data system, model, or component.Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to collaboratively influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of applications design and development innovation and excellence.Knowledge & Skills:Enjoys as Data Engineer by developing frameworks and reusable components and willing to practically implement the same particularly in the customer experience area, Customer support and Marketing.Must be collaborative and must thrive in a team environment.Needs to have a passion to develop, willingness to learn, try new things, and staying current with technology.Critical skills:Excellent understanding of cloud infrastructure and Experience with multiple cloud technologies including AWS and AzureExtensive experience using programming languages to solve big data challenges.In depth knowledge of SQL and relational databases Knowledge and experience on creating conceptual , logical and physical models and Entity relationship model using industry standard notation.Has exposure to SQL, graph and NoSQL databasesUnderstands about metadata and data governanceFluent in structured and unstructured data, its management, and modern data transformation methodologies.Experience in designing APIKnows general tools such as Visual Studio, Git & GitHubFamiliar with a variety of software patterns and principlesUnderstanding of big data architecture  and streaming analytics.Has a good understanding of software engineering principlesExperience designing software applications running on multiple platform types.Experience in evaluating machine learning applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong background on TOGAF and architectural standards is optionalAbility to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.Having knowledge in building machine learning applications is a plus.Education & Experience: bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence.
