It determines how users would instantly perceive the product. Rather than making things pretty, Visual Design is about reaching the optimum combination of aesthetics and usability. The goal is to constantly engage users with effective visual expressions while ensuring design “forms” always remain central to the embedded “functions”.Visual Designers weave spacing, layouts, colors, typography, iconography, graphics, and illustrations together to create compelling user interfaces, in both static and dynamic forms. They are in charge of defining and creating the overall look and feel of the product. Visual Designers are typically involved in the design execution phase, working with interaction designers side by side to produce design deliverables with high quality. They also work at the forefront sometimes, using trend curves to drive innovative digital solutions, and creating illustrations and video demos to visualize concepts and tell user stories.Work on multiple project teams of designers and internal partners responsible for all stages of visual design and development for a portfolio of complex products and platforms, including design system, language, and validation.Understand the design requirements and execute high-quality interactive/static design deliverables with detailed definitions and specifications that are understandable by the development teamsReview and evaluate user interfaces and project activities for compliance with visual design and development guidelines and standards; provide tangible feedback to improve product quality and experiences.Provide domain-specific expertise and overall visual design leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and design language into projects and activities in the design organization.Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.Are you a high performer? We are looking for an individual with: Broad experience with the application of design theories, principles, and concepts to a portfolio of multiple information technology and products, solutions, and services designs.Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary UX and/or product teams (interaction, UX research, engineering, content) on technical implementationA Figma expert in building components and prototypes.
