BI and Application DeveloperDescription -MCO S&GD is responsible for governance of the MEC and QEC Close compliances, Centralized Audit Governance , facilitating Balance Sheet reviews for Market controllers using data models and analytics  and  also to deliver on future automation and analytical projects to enhance and make the financials insights more realtime for the finance users. The organization spearheads projects to implement the digital strategies across the Global controllership org.The position is a developer role based out of Bangalore and is within the domain of automation and analytics.Key Requirements:Required to understand business requirements from stakeholders and translate those requirements into scalable Business Intelligence solutions.Should be able to create solutions with excellent business user experience impact by using correct visual and story integration skill.Should be able to leverage best practices in dashboard design to make report more intuitive and insightful. Has the ability to create applications and interfaces to transform unstructured to structured data.Essential Skills and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience)8+ years of experience in development.Must be able to understand the business use of data and designs reports and  applications with excellent user experienceExperience in design and implementation of OLAP cube architecture using SQL Server Analysis ServicesKnowledge in logical and physical database modelling.Application development experience using DOT NET/Python will be an added advantagePractical experience with large-scale data manipulation and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) using SQL Server Integration Services, Transact-SQL code and other techniquesFull stack Java or similar development experience is highly desirable.Domain knowledge of Finance/Accounting will be an added advantage.Familiarity with concepts of Balance sheet, trial balance and accounting is desirable.Must demonstrate a sense of urgency, and the ability to work independently and proactively in achieving team and individual objectivesMust be comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentMust be an effective verbal and written communicator, able to work with both technical and business usersJob -FinanceSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (India)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
