Supplier and Sourcing Manager - Service Supply ChainDescription -Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving most complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages activities of non-exempt/exempt individual contributors (typically Expert/Master). Has accountability for a large multi-department areas and locations with significant impact on business unit results and organizational strategy. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization. Plans, manages and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' primary focus is on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members.The Supplier and Sourcing Manager for the Print Service Supply Chain leads a team of individuals from across the globe focused on the below accountabilities:Relationship and Contractual manager for all Print Service suppliers. This includes Canon, Foxconn, Jabil, Flex, NKG and other 2nd tier suppliers. The manager is responsible for contractual agreements and sustainability of supply to theatres supporting spare part fulfillment and repair for HP customers.Drive material cost reductions and forecast cost impacts to be used in budget, flash and LTP.Lead executive workshops and business reviews with suppliers focused on continuous improvement and strategy alignment.Collaborate with theatre operation teams on material cost management strategies, supply availability targets and sustainability initiatives.Own and drive key metrics: Value capture (material), on-time delivery from suppliers, supplier lead-time, purchase order accuracy.Manage a team of 9 individuals located in all theatres; empower the team, drive employee engagement improvement initiatives and support employee development for roles of the future.Education and Experience RequiredFirst level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.Typically 10+ years of experience in a supply chain or related function.Typically 2-4 years of people management experience.Knowledge and SkillsSuperior understanding of demand and supply planning processes, procurement, supplier management and strategy.Advanced analytical skills.Advanced project management skills.Advanced people management skills, including managing teams across countries.Advanced communication skills, catered to a wide variety of audiences; mastery in English and local language.Superior business acumen.Strong understanding of HP’s policies and processes.Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills.Advanced consulting, influence, and negotiation skills.Impact/ScopeAbility to influence a particular business across regions.Typically leads large and complex business process initiatives.Collaborates with contributors globally and across functions to deliver supply chain solutions.ComplexityLeads complex supply chain programs.Anticipates strategic needs and impacts on overall business model.Job -Supply Chain & OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
