The subscription standard offers we’ll deliver will enable Partners to locally tailor and build recurring revenue on – using HP services and assets that keep their SMB customer devices secure, always-connected, and always-on – providing SMB customers the business continuity and experiences they need to win.We are a fast-paced team, dedicated to producing results. The team is seeking an experienced Product Manager with a passion for technology, services, and products. The Product Manager will plan and implement service / subscription requirements and features, in the near-term leveraging HP’s Digital Subscription (cloud commerce) Platform (DSP), along with potentially other HP systems in long-term. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with our team’s Channel SMB Offering Product Managers to collectively define and execute the strategy and plan to successfully deliver and test new service subscription offerings, working across HP product and service teams, engineering, and technology partners; including partners such as Interworks.cloud, and global alliance partners like Microsoft, as well as emerging partners and digital service vendors who can deliver best-in-class experiences as required by our developing Channel Managed SMB Subscription Services portfolio. The initial focus will be to enable subscriptions - uniquely suited to the business models of HP’s Value-Added Reseller and Managed Service Provider partners - built upon HP’s stack of PC and services / software technology, with a long-term objective to encompass HP Print and Poly assets and value. In addition to enabling subscriptions, the successful Product Manager will lead across-PC-Print-Poly-services team to define the north star - a unified channel experience journey that enables a new/improved way for Partners to do and grow their services business with HP.The Product Manager will work with worldwide WSS and HP commercial product managers, Commercial Organization Channel sales leads, Regional market/COE leads, Alliance, CS, and marketing teams to position HP offerings, assess competition, and determine areas to drive differentiation. The candidate should demonstrate unique mastery and recognized authority on HP’s Channel GTM models, along with proven expertise in assessing potential third parties with whom HP should partner on services value and go-to-market activities.Responsibilities: Define and drive the north star (unified) channel experience journey across PC-Print-Poly that enables a new/improved way for Partners to do and grow their services business with HP.Responsible to create and track the DSP-enabled Subscription Service enablement roadmap; including software, hardware, partner, and cloud infrastructure features.Responsible for researching, identifying, and prioritizing the customer experience for new Channel Managed Service solutions.Responsible for keeping up to date with sales and business development teams to share and build on emerging channel / client / market demand, and driving required changes into subscription journeys.Work closely across-HP teams, including HP IT, finance, WSS amd Commercial PC Product Managers, CS, Sales COE/Markets, and Engineering.Work closely with HP partners to understand technology roadmaps and joint opportunities to deliver new customer experiences and value.Create clear value proposition for new solutions with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to effectively message and position offerings.Assess market competition, position HP offers, and determine areas to drive differentiation against competitors.Build strong relationships with Engineering, Regional Markets, and Product Marketing teams to prioritize activities needed to drive end business results.Define service cost components / model and recommend service pricing and packaging choices by working with Offer Management, Operations, Product Marketing, and Regional Market leaders.Represent Product Planning and Management as a subject matter expert to customers, extended teams, and upper management.Provide leadership and work within cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.Contribute to team through effective collaboration and mentoring as required.Regularly recommend product/service/solution strategic direction to senior management.Lead projects that involve cross-functional coordination to provide integrated products/services/solutions.Seen by sales team as an expert and regularly called on to defend the benefits in front of customers or partners.Knowledge and Skills: Channel go-to-market expertise a must, HP Channel engagement a plusService, software, or hardware product planning and product management experience.Driven, proactive do-er - with a high sense of urgency.Demonstrated change agent, creative thinker, and problem solver.IT transformation or modernization experience, such as cloud-based technologies for device management and analytics.Skilled in building trusted relationships with team members and project stakeholders.A strong communicator with the ability to pull out and summarize information, and tailor communication style and content for a variety of audiences.
