Human Rights Program Manager - Responsible SourcingDescription -What a Human Rights Program Manager (Responsible Sourcing) does at HP:Serves as the internal subject matter expert on human rights with a focus on forced labor.Strengthens company commitments on forced labor in line with best practice.Assist to embed forced labor policies and procedures into the business.Identified and prioritize specific interventions addressing forced labor risks across the value chain (including for example as they relate to conflict minerals.Provide advice to strengthen suppliers' capacity to uphold HP’s requirements on forced labor and responsible recruitment, including how they can address forced labor risks and impacts in their own operations and supply chain.Find, select and manage third party partners with requisite expertise to support the program.  This includes developing terms of reference, managing partner engagements, and budgets.Support internal and external reporting in collaboration with communications and other team members/business divisions.Provide expert thought leadership with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may also provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor as required.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English and local language.Excellent team and project management skills, including project structuring.Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units, with an understanding of emerging trends.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
