Finance Automation Lead-ControllershipDescription -The Legal Entity Accounting (LEA) team is part of HP Controllership Organization, executing the key operational transfer pricing process i.e. managing the profitability of Legal Entities. Our priority is to automate worldwide forecasting process . You’d need to understand business requirements from stakeholders and translate those requirements into scalable Business Intelligence solution with excellent business user experience impact by using correct visual and story integration skill, should be able to leverage best practices in dashboard design to make report more intuitive and insightful.As a LEA Analyst you’ll be using Alteryx or MS Azure/ Power Platform/Databricks to further develop and configure our solution that automates translation of management P&L forecast into legal entity P&L forecast with support from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). After successful deployment of this systemic solution your responsibilities will include maintenance of forecasting tool, providing training to users, monitoring and reporting profitability of legal entities, compliance with IC pricing policy, providing complex financial analysis to influence strategic decision-making, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading these transformation initiatives. Additionally, you’ll provide support for month, quarter and year end closes, e.g. as for Legal Only Margin & transfer pricing reports, maintain relevant audit trail. Ideal candidate will have superior knowledge of citizen lead automation tools - especially Alteryx and advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g. ACCA/CPA/MBA), excellent project management, communication and problem-solving skills. Previous work experience in the area of tax, transfer pricing or SAP S4 HANA is great plus.Working on automation of management forecast translation into legal entity forecast, deeply engaged in the design phase with support from SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).Responsible for successful development of above-mentioned systemic solution followed by maintenance of forecasting toolProviding training to users and various stakeholdersMonitoring and reporting on legal entities funding, compliance with IC pricing policies and financial targets set by the transfer pricing team and work with respective teams to make recommendations for changes. Providing complex financial analysis and consultation to senior management/leaders in order to guide and influence strategic decision-making.Identifying opportunities for process improvement and policy development.Responsibilities include the following:Support the development and implementation of systemic IC Funding and P&L forecasting tool, procedures, and practices regarding the pricing and documentation of all intercompany transactions.Prepare and provide support to month end, quarter end and year end close.Prepare and review the IC and funding related reports, develop and maintain Legal Only Margin & transfer pricing reports on intranet website, content, and communication. Take reasonable actions to minimize the magnitude and frequency of transfer pricing adjustments.In conjunction with the Transfer Pricing and Controllership, develop and maintain intercompany pricing strategies to facilitate business decision support.Leads ongoing process transformation initiatives.Responds to notices from various tax authorities and interacts directly with tax authorities.Works across different functions and levels within the organizationEducation and Experience Required:First level university degree with a focus in business or economics.Advanced degree or accounting certification e.g. Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
