Engineering Section ManagerDescription -About the role:Lead the Hardware Engineering & NPI section in Operations, with e2e accountability for all Engineering aspects of Indigo’s products – new and releasedWork in tight collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, Sourcing and planning.Lead ~100 employees, managers, and team leadersWork in tight collaboration with Operations (Mfg, Sourcing, Planning, Quality, SC) & R&D teamsTake a key part in Operations’ journey to revolutionize NPI and become best in class in that areaWhat will be your key responsibilities: Transfer of new products from R&D to Operations according to the PLC process, with e2e accountability for integrating all Operational aspects and reaching the highest checkpoints signoff scoresDesign and build technological and manufacturing infrastructure, including line design and Automatic Test Equipment and jigs at our suppliers' sites and production lines, for all Hardware and Writing Head productsProduction line Process Engineering, in charge of all technical support, processes, and standards to enable reliable and continuous assurance of supply, working closely with the production teamsProduct configuration management, including BOMs and change management in PECO and CCB. In charge of Indigo’s PDM solutions and products, including all related processes, enhancements and upgrade programsMechanical & Electrical NPI Engineering, covering HW, PCBAs, Wiring, EC, components, Compute systems and DFELead the Smart manufacturing program - Processes, data and systemsStrive to meet the highest Customer Quality standards, working closely with the Quality and Service teamsInitiate and implement activities to reduce COGSLead short and long-term scalability and efficiency improvements through Lean and Operational Excellence to drive productivity and meet the business growth needsDefine Engineering long term strategy and supporting workplansDrive employee engagement, develop, coach and support employees at all levels to foster a high performance cultureRequirements and Skills needed: Academic degree - BSc in Engineering /MBA – preferredBroad managerial experience, strong leadership skills with track record of leading teams to resultsProven record in leading large technical Engineering teams and in leading NPI activities and product transfer to productionKnowledge of Electronic and Mechanical manufacturing processes and technologiesAbility to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with multiple interfaces and partnersBusiness acumen and ability to see the wide organizational pictureAbility to drive for results and manage changes through creativity and innovationAbility to work effectively under pressure and multitaskingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsJob -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Israel)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
