Ecosystems Validation Engineer Lead

Ecosystems Validation Engineer LeadDescription -HP will be building and delivering more and more products and solutions to our customer base as part of its growth strategy.  We need an ESP (Ecosystem Stability Protection) Engineering Lead who oversees these solution releases; this lead will validate that our customers receive quality products.  This role is part of the Office Systems Validation [OSV] team. ESP team is accountable for continuous monitoring of ecosystem at critical interfaces between assets by following layered test strategy model and collaboration with R&D partners.Job Responsibilities: Develop test coverage and execution plan to achieve firmware stability on main code prior to branching for program releases. Construct status reports & dashboards using tools such as Jira, Power BI or Excel.Perform analysis to evaluate bug find-fix rate, bug resolution rate, and test effectiveness to continually improve coverage and product/solution quality.Drive overall test plan, test execution & risk assessment to meet aligned release criteria of business & quality objectives.Contribute to ship/no ship recommendations, report on quality status for each program.Ability to lead scrums, manage local and global team to accomplish sprint plans.Interact with strategic planner for prioritization of automation development and product execution.Provide input into resource plan/budget with Manager and Quality operations manager.Create and drive a 90-day plan or roadmap to accomplish strategic objectives and operational goals.Drive process improvements within team and organization.Understand program requirements and translate into test requirements.Design tests based on function and non-functional requirements.Evaluate ecosystem issues to properly identity failure point for potential bug submittal.Innovate to solve system process patterns involving Dev Ops, Python and SQL.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Typically 5-10 years experience.Knowledge and Skills: Exposure to Automation framework in test environmentsCloud and IoT understanding and practical experienceEvaluating forms and processes for software testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with critical thinking when approaching problems and self-driven.Experience or familiarity with Jira and TestRailExperience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions across multiple platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals with ESP team.Job -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
