International Compliance AssociateDescription -This role is split between two main functions of the product compliance department. The first part of this role is in supporting the team of International Compliance Managers,dealing with shipments of test samples and ancillary equipment, purchasing and supporting facilities of the office. Second part of the role includes supporting enquiries from customers,distributors and internal stakeholders for compliance documentation and information via a dedicated mailbox. Resolving enquiries will involve the use of HP’s compliance databaseand regular liaison with other compliance colleagues, and occasionally other functions such as Engineering or Product Management. Both activities require an organised mindsetand determination to track and resolve all enquiries to the ultimate delight of the customer. This role requires you to be in the office about three to four days a week in our Monmouth, Monmouthshire office.Responsibilities Organising incoming and outgoing consignments including raising paperwork and supporting documents. Arranging for test samples and support equipment to reach their destination in a timely manner.Maintaining shared mailbox and supporting enquiriesProvide office and administrative support to the Poly Global Product Compliance department, helping maintain an organized and efficient office.Management of sample shipments worldwide and controlling record keeping for customs purposes.Filing and recording accurate technical documentation, ensuring files and projects are completed.Housekeeping of databasesDealing with travel requests, reservations, organizing meetingsRaising purchase orders, dealing with any PO enquiries, or relevant invoice enquires.Other ad-hoc tasks as requiredEducation and Experience RequiredMinimum of City & Guilds/BTEC /A-levels in electronics, science related field or equivalent vocational qualification, desirable – BSc/BEng/BA in any academic subject.At least 2 years in a technical, compliance, legal, quality or administrative roleExperience of maintaining databases an advantage.Experience of electronic products including the fundamentals of EMC, Safety and Radio and any type approvals experience an advantage.Knowledge and SkillsAbility to disseminate, recognise and obtain information from technical and legal documentsProficiency working in a Windows environment with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.Demonstrated ability to self-manage and initiate tasks as needed, organising, tracking and communicating.Methodical approach with an eye for detailStrong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.Ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-taskThis role will appeal to a well-organised, disciplined energetic and adaptable individual who enjoys taking responsibility and working as part of a close team in a fast-moving environment. Good “customer” interfacing skills are essential.
