Control Systems EngineerDescription -A new member to this innovative and sustaining team will thrive in an environment with an opportunity to develop and apply a diverse range of skills.  Partnering with other engineering disciplines to specify and acquire factory capability from third parties, and design and develop in-house solutions.  Investigate, plan, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and document per milestone commitments to internal customers and various programs we support. Teaming up with our worldwide manufacturing partners to leverage proto environment solutions into qualified and production ready environments. Demonstrate competent level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations. Responsibilities: Design and support systems based on a wide variety of software technologies including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human machine interfaces (HMIs), motion control, robotics, vision systems, windows applications.Partner with other engineering disciplines to specify and acquire factory capability from third parties, and to design and develop in-house solutions.Investigate, plan, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and document per milestone commitments.Interface with production and technician staff to support product quality and factory throughput commitments.Interface with worldwide manufacturing partners to leverage proto environment solutions to a qualified and production ready implementation. Ability to work & interact effectively with team members & individuals from other disciplines, geographical locations, and companies. Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering , or related field of engineering.Minimum 2 years of controls experience Knowledge, Experience, and Skills: Good fundamental programming skills & practices, including development, debug, start-up, revision control & state control programming structure.Demonstrated experience with tooling acquisition.Network communications and design knowledge.Using electrical design tools and software packages to create and assess system designs.Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.Understanding and familiar with robotics and vision systems and associated algorithms.Using empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate component, circuit, and hardware designs.Job -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Not SpecifiedRelocation -YesEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
