Bid Desk AnalystDescription -North America Bid Desk Analyst· Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.· Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.· Leads business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions.· Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.· Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross functional planning processes.· Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.· Ability to influence multiple organizations within a broad scope.Bid DeskIn Bid Desk you will provide special pricing and proposal leadership and support to sales teams.  You will be an integral member of the sales teams you support to enable them to win deals that meet business group margin targets.Responsibilities include may include:Strategize and coach sales on pricing methodologiesEngage in cross category discussions to optimize the overall HP solutionEngage appropriate resources( e.g. contracts and segment finance) to position pricing/contract terms necessary to win businessProvide pricing for requests for proposals, contracts, and strategic business opportunitiesUnderstand HP Channel programs.Verify compliance requirement are met on the special pricing process.Education and Experience Required:· First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.· Typically 6+ years of experience as a business or financial analyst.· Typically experienced in more than one business function.Knowledge and Skills Required:· Strong business acumen.· Excellent analytical skills.· Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).· Excellent communication and influencing skills.· Superior teamwork skillsJob -Sales OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Mexico)Travel -Relocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
