IT Business Consultant/Project ManagerDescription -Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.Responsibilities: Establishes and maintains relationships with several business implementation teams. Uses deep business knowledge and business acumen to drive improvements in IT engagement for major initiatives. Influences overall IT and business planning interlock.Communicates specific IT decisions relevant to the business implementation teams.Represents the needs of the business, function, or geography during implementation projects.Communicates standard IT solutions to meet the needs of the business, function geography or organization.Actively participates in selected IT projects to ensure that business, function, and geography "customers" receive sufficient and timely communications.Follows defined processes and implements process changes as needed to meet ongoing IT objectives.Education and Experience Required: Typically a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years experience.Desired: Project Management/Agile CertificationDesired: Public Cloud - AWS/Azure CertificationKnowledge and Skills: Strong written and verbal skills. Experience in managing relationships. Significant business experience in relevant domains. Experience in managing small IT projects or participating in larger IT projects. Experience in process improvement.Subject matter expert in On-Premise and Public Cloud Infrastructure Architecture as it relates to compute, network and storage to deploy applications in Hybrid IT environments.Familiarity with Data Centers, Networks and Public Cloud services available from AWS and MS Azure.Owns governance, optimization and migration responsibility with Application Team deploying to an On-Premise Data Center and/or migrating to the Public Cloud.Drive alignment with Cyber Security to protect HPs brand reputation and data.Financial acumen to help application teams scope cost of proposed Application Architectures and drive optimization to reduce cost.Program Management skills – set up meetings, facilitate, assign actions, track/ follow up and report out.Proficient with MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.  Use of large/complex Excel files will be required.Job -Information TechnologySchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Mexico)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
