SaaS EngineerDescription -Teradici, an HP company, is the inventor of the PCoIP remote display protocol and developed the Engineering Emmy-Award-winning HP Anyware to deliver the best virtual and remote desktop experience in the world. HP Anyware connects users to their remote desktops and workstations, delivering a highly responsive, color-accurate, lossless, and distortion-free experience for even the most graphics-intensive workloads. Our team is responsible for the development and operation of our Anyware Manager SaaS. Anyware Manager is a cloud native application responsible for the management, provisioning and user entitlement of PCoIP Remote Workstations. We believe in a DevOps culture, in strong communication and supporting what we develop; we do not toss product updates over the fence. You have a background in and an appreciation for security, compliance and what it takes to keep a service operational. You understand the impact degraded services or outages have on our customers, as well as what it means to make a secure service. Within the team, you will be an agent to define, implement and advise on operations, compliance and security. You will be joining the team to create a resilient service that can self-recover, with alerting and monitoring of key indicators to the system health and performance and by regularly reviewing system data to identify trends that the team must take action on. You can expect to spend approximately half of your time working on issues, and manual intervention, and approximately half of your time developing automation, scaling and designing service architecture. Responsibilities: Driving the service to increased security, higher availability, fault tolerance and automation.Creating dashboards and alerts to monitor the service. Defining service KPIs and alerting on them. Defining and implementing operational, compliance and security improvement plans. Implementing monitoring, alerts and automation.Integrating security checks to be real-time to support continuous delivery. Running operations reviews and incident postmortems. Managing and implementing disaster recovery plan. Enabling the service to scale further and operate in additional regions while meeting compliance and legal requirements. Providing feedback on development or design plans around their impact to performance, operations, scalability and security of the overall service. Communicating and coordinating with product security and IT. On-call rotation with the other team members .Requirements: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent. First class analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Experience with operating, scaling and automating a SaaS. Experience with using Azure. Experience in scripting. Experience in defining, and implementing service monitoring and alerts. Passion to work in an exciting environment and deliver new technologies and products to the marketplace. Belief in DevOps and DevSecOps cultures. Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering. Experience defining infrastructure as code. Experience implementing compliance requirements into a service. Ability to learn quickly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate with product security, developers, product owners and other team members. Experience using monitoring services such as Datadog or Sumo Logic. Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery. Experience with cloud-native applications using the 12 factor methodology. Training in security. Experience with using microservices and operating/supporting them in production. Experience with event driven architectures. Experience with using and creating RESTful APIs. Experience with Agile development approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe. Values: Secure products.
