Manager, Strategic Procurement - DigitalDescription -Join the Direct Procurement Strategy, Operations, and Digital Transformation Team at HP's Supply Chain organization as a Digital Transformation Manager. This position is crucial in developing the digital capabilities required to support the overall sourcing strategy. As the Digital Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for establishing business cases for the digital capabilities, leading the deployment of new digital capabilities into the sourcing organization, and ensuring appropriate change management to optimize sourcing processes and analytic decision-making capabilities.You will lead a small team of specialists supporting the current tool infrastructure and testing the deployment of enterprise-wide systems within the procurement team. Additionally, you will engage directly with commodity managers and engineers, functional business leaders, the Supply Chain Transformation, and members of HP IT to ensure successful implementation.This position reports to the Senior Director in Direct Procurement and requires an individual who can think creatively and strategically while staying organized and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives in procurement and supply chain functions. Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills are necessary for success in this role. Join us and be part of a dynamic team driving digital transformation and innovation in HP's Supply Chain.Responsibilities: Develop and demonstrate use cases necessary to build digital capabilities, including spend analytics, intelligent sourcing, contract lifecycle management, supplier relationship management, and supplier 360. Integrate tools and processes for sourcing with BU product lifecycle teams to ensure alignment. Represent procurement in the development and deployment of new capabilities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and change management, to ensure successful implementation. Establish strategies for analytics, identify data science opportunities, and enhance business intelligence (BI) to improve automation and efficiency based on the digital procurement roadmap. Develop business cases and core metrics for Digital Procurement programs across COGS and Working Capital to drive continuous improvement. Manage procurement-owned systems and tools, such as CSI, to ensure optimal performance and utilization. Support the deployment and testing of digital capabilities, such as S4 Simplify and Nightfall, to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Represent procurement in developing new use cases for new and innovative ways of working, such as Generative AI, to enhance procurement processes and drive value. Manage a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and Managers to ensure alignment and successful delivery of procurement initiatives. Hire, set and monitor annual performance plans, coach, and develop team members, and provide the proper tools and resources to support team and processes. Plan, direct, and monitor high-end operational/tactical activities of staff with a primary focus on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both. Meet with senior stakeholder business executives to discuss the impact of supply chain strategic development and the development of forward-thinking supply chain strategies. Partner with suppliers in forward-thinking strategic development and relationship building to drive collaboration and value creation. Act as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall strategies and long-term goals of the organization. Apply expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving the most complex business/technical issues within the established framework.As the Digital Transformation Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement digital capabilities that enhance procurement processes and drive value. You will lead a team of experts to ensure successful deployment of new capabilities, drive continuous improvement, and build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
