Public Sector Product ManagerDescription -Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.Responsibilities:Understanding of key vertical markets as it relates to customer requirements, opportunities, market trends and derivers and competition. Including potentially disruptive technologies.Deep understanding on market forces & growth, competitive offerings, solution adoption. Analyze market metrics (market accepted price points, unit volumes, competitive dynamics) and provide insights to aid decision making.Develop public sector services portfolio that can be sold by our commercial GTM’s team. Includes identifying the initial opportunities and working together with the commercial team for immediate successes.Gather and evaluate business and user requirements specific to public sector based on customer experience and channel experience.Collaborate with internal sales, marketing and product teams to develop clear and aligned messaging on products and services within the public sector for customer-centric go-to-market campaigns.Identify and co-develop specific marketing tactics and commercial action plans to increase penetration, create demand and expand brand awareness.Assist in execution of multi-channel programs for targeted verticals.Skills:Ability to manage complexity, working across multiple key stakeholders and getting buy-in.
