3D Factory Engineering Support (Student)Description -HP launched 7 years ago a unique technology and business model to disrupt the market and open a new world in the 3D printing industry. On top of that, since 3 years ago HP is investing on launching 3D Applications to final customers and we want you to be part of this exciting opportunity that we've in front of us at the Parts Manufacturing Lab (PML) located in Barcelona (DFactory).This role requires basic technical understanding and project mgmt. skills.The selected candidate will work with the 3D Factory team within the Process Engineering department.This person will support different activities related to processes, data analytics and new product introduction dynamics oriented to support PML activities.He/she will partner with Process Engineering teams to successfully certify DFactory in multiple industry standards in order to transform PML as a top world class showcase in Additive Manufacturing.Responsibilities: Oversee effective implementation of the different Quality Management Systems (QMS).Develop the formal factory process documentation and oriented to QMS (ISO9001/ISO52920/ISO13485) and other industry standards with the support from process engineering team. Follow a project management mindset.Help to develop PowerBI dashboards and Thingworx mockups based on specific factory needs. Trainings to use effectively both tools are expected.Analyze and report Factory KPI metrics (Productivity, Quality and Cost) to prioritize process engineering improvements based on business mindset..Assist with training of quality awareness.Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors.Support and lead some process improvement activities.Conduct benchmark studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends.Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions.Undertake continuous training and development.Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.Independently determine approach to assigned tasks.Education and Experience Required: Enrolled in a Master's of Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.Passionate about the 3D world, manufacturing, lab work and data collection and analysis.We offer: Curricular paid Internship agreement between university, company, studentFlexible schedule for part time (4h/day) or full time (8h/day) for a 3 to12 months agreementA Young employee Network (YEN) which host fun events on a regular basis; such as “beer bust” Fridays at different venues including the beach in the summertime.We have an onsite Doctor and medical team for our employees, including services such as: nutrition, physiotherapy and general healthFree daily printing Happy hour – from photographs, to large posters.
