User Research Project ManagerDescription -Welcome to HP Global Experience Design. We create innovative products that will satisfy and delight HP customers of today and tomorrow.In this role, you will serve as Project Manager for the User Research & Experience Validation Team within the Global Experience Design Print Hardware & Services Organization. As part of the UX Research team, you will represent the unbiased voice of HP’s customers. You will collaborate closely with other teams and have a direct impact on future designs that create great experiences and have positive impacts in the lives of our customers.Responsibilities:Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned programs.Manages budget-related documentation including SOWs and POs in collaboration with Finance teams.Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plans and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders across organizations; collaborates with management and internal development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.Develops and directs schedules related to internal and external research activities including timely delivery of stimulus materials, scheduling, confidentiality agreements, and vendor coordination as needed.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Social Sciences, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.PMP/PMI certification preferred.Typically 4-6 years experience.PM experience within a research team is preferred.Knowledge and Skills: Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.HP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:•  Dental insurance•  Disability insurance•  Employee assistance program•  Flexible schedule•  Flexible spending account•  Health insurance•  Life insurance Per the Washington statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in Vancouver, at the time of this posting, is $89,200 to $137,400.  This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.Job -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Not SpecifiedRelocation -Not SpecifiedEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
