Strategy Finance Senior AnalystDescription -The Senior Analyst is part of a team of 6 in Strategy Finance under the Strategy Finance Manager, but his/her role impacts the whole Strategy &Incubation/ Personalization & 3D Finance Team (Strategy & Incubation Finance).We are looking for a Master with specific skills which would help the Strategy & Incubation Finance team navigate in a moving environment and who would not be afraid of uncertainty. We need to build and develop an agile team ready to move quickly within the life of incubation businesses and ready to develop more skills of the future. He/she exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. He/she may provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.Responsibilities: Work on Special Projects which may involve internal and external teams.Lead Risk management for the Incubation Businesses. Identify Business Risks related to Incubation businesses, Design and adapt policies mitigating those risks and Lead the Implementation of those governance processes, in coordination with Business Teams and collaboration with Internal Audit, Proactive Risk management Department and Corporate Departments.Help evaluate R&D projects and define strategy for new businesses.Responsibilities will not be limited to management of projects, but may include end to end process of the project such as developing strategy, framework, preparation and planning, execution and delivery, and relationship management with stakeholdersIdentifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the designRepresents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts while leading a projectEducation and Experience Required: First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferredTypically 10+ years of experience as a financial analystTypically experienced in a variety of finance functions, including external or internal auditIdeally start-up or entrepreneurship experienceExperienced in process improvement and compliance process implementationStrategic project management experience in both long term and short term projects, and from the project design phase to the delivery and the closureKnowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent project management skillsExcellent communication and influencing skills.Executive presentation experience with good command of presentation skills (developing presentation from scratch based on the required topic for executive level audience) are essential for this roleStrong collaboration skills with various functionsCan work under pressure and be able to work with various teamsCan start with a white spaceAble to navigate through uncertaintyPositive, self-motivated and team playerSuperior teamwork skillsExcellent business acumen.Advance skills in MS office and other general HP tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet, Word document, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.)Data Automation skills Job -FinanceSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
