Business AnalystDescription -As Business Analyst in the Pricing Analytics COE you will shape HP’s future of how we market and price our products. We are a very dynamic, highly skilled and diverse global team consisting of data scientists, economists, computer scientists, engineers, project managers, and product owners. Working with us you will combine your analytical & and coding skills, economic/business thinking, stakeholder engagement and project management skills to help push the innovation frontier in the way HP sets prices for its products.About you:You are interested in customer and market behaviour and methods to measure and anticipate it.You are a data driven person, with a passion to identify patterns in the data, identify the root cause, and propose solutions.You are passionate about coding, simplifying the complex, automation and making processes more efficient.You are keen to be in contact with users/ customers, data scientists.To you problems are like puzzles, you are never satisfied until its solvedResponsibilities:Leverage data analytics technique and visualization tools like Excel, PowerBI and Tableau to reconcile, analyze and transform raw data into meaningful insights.Present the results and recommendations to the project team and contribute to the action plan for improvements.Data guru of the team: good knowledge of where and how to get the right data metrics for the right analysisDevelop and implement frameworks and processes to make your analyses and algorithms easily replicable, scalable and automated.Analyze the adoption of the pricing solution and work on improvement plans with the business/users.Requirements: At least 3 years’ working experience in business analysis/ project management field, with at least 1 year of experience in stakeholder management.Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint. PowerBI or Tableau is required.Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.Ability to think creatively and invent original solutions to business.Organized, structured and good housekeeping skill when handing dataStrong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation.Demonstrated project management skills.Bachelor or Master's degreeEnglish proficiencyInterest in pricing, economics, and consumer behaviorBasic understanding of finance and product economicsExperience in deploying ML and data science solutions.Knowledge of R or PythonProject management certifications preferred: PMI, AgileWhat we offer:Opportunity to work in an international organization with colleagues coming from all over the world.Diverse, continued internal growth and career opportunities.
