Senior Program Manager US NavyDescription -As the Senior Program Manager for the HP US Department of Navy business, you will work in a challenging environment that interacts with a cross-functional set of HP resources as well as multiple levels of US Department of Navy customers. You will be responsible for helping HP successfully execute the day-to-day operation of our business with the Department of the Navy.Key responsibilities of the role:1) Lead a cross-functional team of HP people to ensure HP meets requirements under our contracts with the Department of the Navy.2) Proactively interact with a wide variety of Navy personnel to further the relationship between HP and the Navy and to ensure an environment of transparent and open communications between HP and the Department of the Navy.3) Maintain overall programmatic (cost, schedule, performance) responsibility for the execution of contracts and the delivery of end-user hardware and associated services.4) Serve as the single point of contact for end-user hardware related program issues.5) Interface with HP sub-contractors who assist HP in execution of our contracts.6) Plan and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings between HP and the Department of the Navy relative to our contracts.7) Help ensure HP stays on-track in meeting contractual obligations.8) Ensure reporting is completed on time and accurately as per contract requirements.9) Take on and complete special projects as required to further HP’s relationship with the customer and ensure smooth execution of HP business with the customer.The successful candidate will have the following skill set:1) Ten years of combined experience managing and/or executing the planning, provisioning, and/or delivery of end-user hardware to organizations with at least 100,000 units across multiple locations. This experience includes managing or executing efforts involving replacement of either end-of-life or technically obsolete hardware.2) Holds or ability to obtain a SECRET Department of Defense clearance.  Being a US citizen is a requirement of this position.3) Program Management Professional certification, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management Certification, or equivalent.
