Enterprise Products System Quality Program ManagerDescription -System Quality Program ManagementPartner with global business groups at HP. Pulling dynamic information from these groups to correlate information to provide ecosystem quality validation and report to stakeholders and HP Leadership. Collaborate on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Engages with, and provides expertise, to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgement as well as teamwork within broadly defined policies and practices to devise best method for accomplishing work. Exposure to the diverse cultures at HP and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level or less experienced employees.Responsibilities: Collaborating with multiple project teams, internal and external software quality assurance engineers, and development partners.Responsible for all stages of quality assurance for complex products and platforms, including testing strategy, analysis, results evaluation, and proposed corrective actions.Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development and quality assurance partners on software and firmware design and development.Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with quality assurance guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software quality assurance leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.Drives innovation and integration of modern technologies into projects and activities in the software quality assurance organization.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.Focus Area: Manage test execution of the continuous agile EPI-based release test plan (adjust test resources, priorities, etc. based on daily test results).Monitor and manage high-risk issues and work together with partners to resolve them.Point of escalation for groups that are struggling with accomplishing tasks with partners.Eco-System validation and quality metrics based on firmware program release cadence.Define test coverage and share the whole test plan by designing the schedule to run testing within specific time limits and budgets.Analyze test results and coordinate with developers to settle problems related to defects.Present status and high-risk features to stakeholdersRetrospective of the project after Validation and Release for betterment of testingAttend Program Management Team (PMT), Quality Assurance, Defect Review meetings as applicable.Support and Guide specialty test area teams in IndiaFirst program quality contact point for stakeholders such as R&D and Tech Marketing Engineer, etc.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Typically, 6-10 years of experience.Knowledge and Skills:Extensive experience with multiple software quality assurance tools and processes.Evaluating forms and processes for software testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions.Experience with design and integration of software running on multiple platform types.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English and local language.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.Job -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
