The program manager will provide operational rigor, analytical insights and innovative approaches to enable business execution to grow an incubating business to achieve the vision of the Security BU.Key Responsibilities:Leads delivery of key strategic initiatives by coordinating across a global cross-functional teams. Strategic initiatives include New Service/Product Introduction, Operational tracking of product and business performance, New process development, Cross-functional process alignment, etc.Leads the development of project guidelines/deliverable planning, execution planning, and risk/contingency assessments with ongoing tracking and reporting of status towards targeted resultsIdentifies key stakeholders within a matrixed organization and brings them together to resolve project decisions/risks and follows through on execution of those aligned cross-functional plansKeen problem-solver who can find innovative and creative approaches to drive executionAbility to identify alternative approaches to resolve issues, and provide concrete recommendations, and have a persuasive approach to bring teams together to achieve resultsCollaborates across businesses, functions, and regions to align operational solutions with corporate and divisional approaches, systems, information and supportProactively communicates to facilitate projects and ensure timely deliveryOwns the analysis of business and product performance working with various stakeholders in Reporting, Engineering, IT, etc. to provide ongoing analytical insights on performance of strategic initiativesAbility to automate reporting via scripting is a strong plusConsults with business executives on a wide range of topics related to product and GTM strategy, success metrics, new IT and business process solutions, including risk management, and recommended approach amongst alternativesDrives simplification and standardization to enable repeatable processes and outcomesEducation and Experience Required:Typically 20+ years total experience20+ years of experience as a Program Manager leading complex IT and operational projects from a business perspective; Technical understanding is a significant plus, but business and process understanding it a key requirementAdvanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalentKnowledge and Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence across all levels of an organization (executives, management, SMEs)Detail-oriented, inquisitive, organized, flexible, accountable, resilient, and self-motivatedStrong executive presence and ability to lead diverse, cross-functional, global teamsStrong relationship management skills, including partnering and consultingPractices building strong, influential relationships with stakeholders in the business, operations, and other IT groupsExcellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independentlyExcellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills; Ability to visualize what insights to draw relevant to a strategic initiative or business model, followed by the ability to fluently generate those insights from the dataHighly competent with MS Excel and fluent working with dataBrings full energy to challenging projects, enjoys working hard, and executes tasks efficiently and effectively with minimal planning and oversightQuick learner who can build extensive knowledge of HP IT systems, including SAP and HP.com, and identify key sources of data from within the organization to address the business requirementsJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
