Facility EngineerDescription -What a Facility Engineer does at HP:Manage and oversee the delivery of specific facilities services on site.Interface with local business management to address complex operational or tactical issues, implementing solutions at the site level.Monitor and/or measure service providers’ performance and verifies service levels have been met; provides input to service providers to ensure efficient delivery of services.Apply strong subject matter expertise or technical expertise to address issues on site.Act as a liaison to governmental agencies and local associations with authority to resolve issues and represent HP.Implement strategies, policies, and procedures relevant to on site partners.Familiar with ISO9K, ISO45K, ISO50K audit protocol and documentation plan.Study Facilities system capacities and projection of demand for long term sustenanceDevelop infra-structure future ready plan in collaboration with on site partners and HP Corporate Real Estate Workforce (CREWS)Collaborate with business unit partners and/or CREWs to propose year/year sustainability project.Ensure project delivery costs are in line with set budget and implements cost saving programs.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:First level university degree or equivalent experience.Typically 4-6 years of experience in a business or facilities- related function.Good project and program management skills.Advanced communication skills; capable of managing service providers.Growth mindset, Lean Problem Solving skillsStrong computer, technical and data analytic skills.Solid understanding of program costs and financial impacts.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
