This is an exciting time to join the fast-paced organization that is reinventing printing for the consumer.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement scalable Cloud-based database solutions.Ensure Database standards (security, reliability, availability, and scalability) and procedures are met by our development teams.Identify opportunities for Database infrastructure optimization and cost reduction.Root cause analysis of production-related database issues.Maintain development and production environments.Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.Perform physical implementation of databases, storage structures, high-availability solutions such as multi-AZ, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.Provide technical expertise and hands-on support in consolidation and migration of databases in support of software architectural changesKnowledge & Skills:Proven experience performing Database administration or database engineering duties for database internalsExpertise in relational databases is required. Non-relational databases is a plus. Experience supporting 1 of these database platforms: SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQLMinimum of 3 years of experience supporting software engineering teams through the software development lifecycleMinimum of 3 years of experience deploying, operating, and monitoring infrastructure in the AWS cloudFamiliarity with AWS Cloud products (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Dynamo DB, EMR, DMS data migration, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, etc.)Hands-on experience with operating high-uptime Databases in AWS AWS Database Specialty certifications preferredExcellent interpersonal communication skillsExperience with cloud database technologies (i.e.. AWS RDS, Oracle, MS SQL, Azure)Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, or computer science, or equivalent work experience. Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience.Per the state of Washington statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in Vancouver, WA at the time of this posting, is $101,500 - $156,350.
