Ink Lab Technical SpecialistDescription -What a Ink Lab Technical Specialist does in HP:Able to collaborate with a team of chemists and technicians to support analytical workKnowledge to perform laboratory analytical work in either one or more of the following tools:GC-MS, LC-MS, IC, FTIR, TGA, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, Capillary Electrophoresis, Gel Permeation Chromatography, Ultracentrifuge including sample preparation, calibration, and operationPerform basic scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshootingEnsure housekeeping and EHS complianceProvide support to chemists and/or engineers initiatives such as routine and non-routine testing, new method developments, quality improvement projectsPurchase and maintain the inventory records of chemicals and laboratory supplies accurately and promptlyAssist in lab data processing and reportingAssist in writing and maintain analytical instructions and work instruction procedures for instrumentsTrain newcomers for lab activities and testingPrograming knowledge using Microsoft Power AutomateIndividuals who will do well in this role usually posses:Min 1-3 years working experience in a chemical or other related laboratoryDiploma / Higher NITEC / GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent in Chemistry or relatedAble to work 12 hours rotating shiftCommitment to perform the job according to work instructions and proceduresAbility to work efficiently and handle workload and schedule pressuresKnowledge in Microsoft Office applications will be an advantageKnow-how on Analytical Laboratory equipment operations and controls interface is an advantageGood experience in any tools related to Chromatography, Spectroscopy, Elemental Analysis and Thermal material measurement as listed aboveCompetent on analytical problem solving, self-driven and able to work well in a team settingAbility and willing to undergo knowledge-transfer training with chemists or engineersSustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
