PC Audio ArchitectDescription -Applies advanced subject matter knowledge of audio architecture to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods including audio hardware, software, and acoustic designs for PCs. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.Responsibilities: Leads audio related innovation projects and studies within architecture teams and other internal functional teams and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of the projects to develop complex products, solutions, and platforms, including design, validation, tooling and testing.Analyze all aspects of audio quality by use of acoustic measurement equipment and provide expert recommendations to solve audio issues and propose innovative designs.Responsible of evaluating and designing audio sub-system on a PCs with our solution partners, such as designing of speaker, mic, processor, codec, amp, etc.Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on audio sub-system design and development.Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with audio technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.Provides domain-specific expertise and overall hardware, software, acoustic designs and platform leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.Drives innovation and integration of new audio technologies into projects and activities in PC architecture organization.Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.Typically 6-10 years experience.Knowledge and Skills: Using of electrical design tools, software programming, firmware development skillsHave expertise in the field of acoustics and operation of audio testing equipmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in overall PC architecture for products and solutions, with the focus on audio sub-system.Designing and integrating audio components, integrated circuitry, algorithms, software, and firmware into overall products and solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.Job -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -Shift 1, 0% premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
