Senior Electrical EngineerDescription -The PSQ Engineering & Reliability team is part of the Personal Systems Quality organization and is responsible for supporting global R&D and labs through personal computer development, qualification strategy, and, product issue failure analysis. We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a strong technical background, and experience in electrical hardware design and failure analysis to join our team as a senior electrical engineer.Unique mastery and recognized authority in electrical design and advanced debugging techniques. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads cross-division functional teams or projects that achieve the long-term goals and objectives of the organization. Provides mentoring and guidance to junior engineers. Requires minimum direction to exercise judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives.Key Responsibilities:•    Solves complex electrical hardware issues across the personal computing portfolio•    Introduces new debugging techniques to improve issue resolution efficiency•    Creates product qualification procedures and criteria for new technologies•    Coordinates actions with partners and suppliers to resolve technical issues•    Develops mitigation plans including issue containment and corrective actions•    Performs root cause analysis on field return failures•    Designs preventative strategies from the root cause analysis conclusions•    Contributes to global lab strategyEducation and Experience Required:•    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. (Master’s preferred)•    Personal Computing or Embedded Hardware experience preferred•    Minimum 10+ years experienceKnowledge and Skills:•    Familiarity with semiconductor component datasheets, applications, and electrical design•    Experience with electrical debug equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers•    Experience reading schematics and layout files (Orcad / Allegro preferred)•    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills•    Practices good judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information•    Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment•    Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills•    Experienced with generating reports using Microsoft Office softwareJob -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
