US Federal Innovation Program Manager - Metropolitan Washington DC AreaDescription -US Citizenship RequiredAs the Federal Innovation Program Manager for HP Federal the successful candidate will have responsibility for driving a pan-HP work plan for US Federal innovation that will help the company realize our strategic growth agenda.  The work required to succeed in market is highly cross-functional in nature and will require orchestration across multiple teams up through and including HP senior leadership.  This role will report directly to the President of HP Federal. Specific focus areas include defining and executing an integrated company approach to advancing HP’s strategy regarding US Federal acquisition strategy – knitting together Go to Market (GTM), Government Affairs, Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing and Communications teams to develop a unified plan and program.  This role will develop a set of measures to ensure that we are realizing expected value from our work plans.  Other focus areas will be prioritized within the scope of this role’s responsibilities over time.  This role requires a consultative professional with practical experience successfully managing complex and highly visible projects and programs.  The successful candidate will also possess familiarity with the US Federal segment.  Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Acquisition Strategy Development & ExecutionWork with key stakeholders across multiple functions and business units to develop strategies that defend US national security and economic interests, as we function as values-driven stewards within a global community.Go To Market (GTM) – partner with US Public Sector (and other, as needed) sales teams to ensure that our plans are customer mission-aligned and partner-centric.  Government Affairs/Legal – partner with GA and Legal to develop and enable viable statutory and regulatory approaches to the US Government acquisition of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).Supply Chain Operations – partner with SC to develop and enable effective sourcing, network and capability development strategies that will help the company realize our strategic agenda.Marketing/Communications – partner to develop messaging frameworks and strategies that help amplify key messages in market and with targeted audiences.Leverage internal and external resources to extend and accelerate impact in market.  Participate in external forums and entities, as needed, to ensure that we remain fluent in the rapidly evolving geopolitical climate. Understand statutory and regulatory landscape, related implications to HP and translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership review and action.Ensures careful attention to HP's legal, ethical and business conduct policies in all work performed.Provides flexible, results-oriented leadership to get things done quickly and effectively - balanced against business performance.Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.Prepares regular management reports and situational analyses/solution proposals/project plans.  Qualifications/Key Capabilities Desired: In-depth knowledge of US Federal Government Information and Communications Technology (ICT) acquisition policies and procedures, federal contractor requirements and related industry trends.Proven track record successfully leading complex and fast-paced projects and programs.Excellent communication skills (i.e., written, verbal, presentation), leadership, facilitation and influence skills. Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.Solid financial and business acumen.Must possess experience with risk identification, mitigation and plan documentation. Results-oriented/driver; self-starter, independent leader willing to take risks and make decisions.
