Intellectual Property (IP) Operations SpecialistDescription -This position will contribute to the development and achievements of strategic goals for the IP Operations Team, by providing support to facilitate creation and harmonization to our Intellectual Property team and/or expanded Innovation team. As an IP Operations Specialist you will lead and/or participate in operations-related projects and serve as liaison for mutual and cross-regional communications and discussions internal/external to HP Inc. Responsibilities: Manages complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and make recommendations for Innovation & Brand Protection (IBP) organization Will work independently to manage complex Intellectual Property (IP) assets in company acquisitions, ensuring all assets are transitioned appropriately, which includes working with financial models and with cross functional teamsManage “Records” for all of IBP to ensure compliance with HP policiesControl legal and business documents (e.g., IP Agreements/Power of Attorney’s) to ensure consistency, accurate and proper handling of these documents Lead Career Development Initiatives developed by IBP leadership Manage complex, time-sensitive Inventor Incentive Program’s worldwideAdditional responsibilities may include running recognition initiatives, managing Microsoft Teams, coordinating notary process, and maintaining IBP’s websiteKnowledge and Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage complex data requestsExcellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skillsAbility to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysisExtensive knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modelingStrong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibilityVery strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong project management skillsDeveloped relationship management skillsAbility to lead cross-functional teamsAbility to identify and summarize relevant trends from market and industry dataOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity & InclusionWe are reinventing the standard for diversity, equity, and inclusion — in how we operate as a company and impact society.
