This is a high-profile role that requires a strong leader with a track record of managing a large business, taking calculated risks, and driving results. The successful candidate will work closely with other HP business units to drive successful outcomes, towards mutual goals in partnership. To ensure our continued success in driving and growing PC business there will be an integral  focus on managing and developing relationships with our Distribution Partners. Ideally, you will have a proven track record of success, in a channel sales or a high-volume partner role within the technology sector with a high degree of operational excellence. Based in Sydney, but working in a hybrid environment, the person we are looking for will have both the desire and drive to work for HP, and wanting to make an impact during an exciting time in our evolution.  At HP, the future is yours to create!As our Wholesale Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to:-Serve as the expert regarding information on HP products, services, and software transitions, promotions, in PC commercial/consumer businessProactively lead quarterly and annual joint partner planning and QBR process with the distributor and transform this into joint sales activitiesLead end to end ranging and buying discussions across multiple HP PC product categoriesPromote HP offerings to become an integral part of the partner's business and solutionsRepresent the HP brand to end-customers distribution and channel as requiredEstablish and maintain account plans to promote sales growth across all Product SegmentsWork to achieve or exceed the assigned quota for HP products and attach servicesTransactional and relationship selling working within, and influencing, a team of selling professionals at the distributor or partner level where requiredActively engage HP resources and senior executives to build strategic relationships with the partner, ensuring long- term business opportunities for HPProvide the business rationale and risk assessment for making HP investments in the partnerEnsures partners are compliant with legal and SBC practicesDrive SOW growth with distributors who are managing small partners on behalf of HPRecruit and develop business relationships with new unmanaged partners as required to growArrange, lead and conduct training and eventsTo be successful in this role, you should have:-University or bachelor’s degree preferred or related industry experienceStrong presentation and stakeholder meeting skillsPipeline management and line of sight judgement abilityC-level stakeholder experienceDemonstrable track record in IT salesStrong relationship building skillsSeveral years’ experience selling to partners, preferably in a complex environmentThorough understanding of the personal computing market including competing vendors and the channelStrong understanding of business/finance metricsHighly skilled in operations and administrationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivation, resilience and energyExperience Required:Typically 10+ years of professional experience with a combination of Sales, Business Planning, Marketing experienced preferredThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a large volume business and, delivering outstanding results. They will have strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes.
