Houston Site Council Employee Engagement InternDescription -This internship role will focus on supporting the HP Inc. Houston Site Council Employee Engagement calendar and cadence of events. The position will serve as a liaison between Employee Impact Groups locally recognized in Houston and the Houston Site Council.Key responsibilities may include (but not limited to):Lead and manage monthly site steering committee meetings. Manage all notes and ensure action items are documented and published regularly.Coordinate with Corporate and Local Site Communications leads for digital signage updates and rolling communications to employees.Create and coordinate the overall calendar of events for the Houston Site with the objective to create synergy among groups and create consistent engagement versus peaks and valleys inactivityProvide and act as a leader in planning and executing planned Employee Engagement events sponsored by Houston Site Council Collaborate with Houston Site Council Finance lead to meet annual/quarterly budget targets and ensure reimbursement, where applicable, from Corporate Human Resources Global Diversity and Inclusion officeAccountable for inventory management of all Houston Site Council raffle items and event/logistics supportAssist Employee Impact Group leaders as needed for event planning and execution. Additional assignments as determined based on needs of the Houston Site Council and business units in relation to Employee EngagementThis position will directly report to the Houston Site Council Steering lead and receive direct supervision and guidance from the Site Council Employee Engagement Lead.The role will operate year-round as a part-time internship position (approximately 20 hours per week) with the ability to go up to full-time during summer breaks (40 hours per week).Education & Experience Required:2nd or 3rd year students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Non-technical field, Business, Communication, Arts or related.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in Project Management such as in event planning, calendar management, and excellent organizational skills.Experience in creating, planning, and executing events for 1000+ attendees a strong plus.Strong desire to pursue a career in a technology industry long-term#Li-PostJob -AdministrationSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
