Supply Chain PlannerDescription -The Supply Chain Planner will manage a portfolio of spare parts. He/she will plan inventories for the products assigned to drive optimal level of availability within the inventory targets and limitations, minimizing SC planning related costs.Job specifics/responsibilities:Planning activity for a specific portfolio:Supply Planning: Maintain part availability to support customer needs: Calculate the needs for spare parts (or whole units), place appropriate supplier Purchase Orders and monitor the planned deliveries from suppliers.Inventory Management: Manage inventory in EMEA Network (Central warehouse, country warehouses) by defining inventory target for all EMEA locations.Lifecycle Management: Work on problems of diverse complexity and scope (New Product Intro, Life-Time Buys, Rolls, Upgrades, others).Customer Delivery Performance: Report planning performance of the products assigned; identify deviations and take effective mitigation actions;Actively participate on meetings with other members of the team.Forecast needs in his/her area of responsibilityFinance/Cost and TCE accountability:Manage Good Inventory Scrap costs (so called Excess & Obsolescence process)Minimize Planning-driven costs (Inbound, exception, airfreight, rebalancing, reverse)Share best practices among the team thru active participation in performance reviews or team meetings.Develop Finance / Cost acumen linked to planning activity, understand the cost impacts and balance between costs and commitments to customers;Bring creative ideas to improve Cost and/or customer experience.
