Data ScientistDescription -What a Data Scientist does at HP:Bring deep technical expertise and implementation know-how in Digitization, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.Review data designs, modeling and ensure data accuracy and compliance.Design and optimize processes for generating data and derive actionable business insights through data analytics.Explore new techniques and technologies in AI/ML, partnering with internal HP data science community, and also external solution vendors, to deliver greater value solutions. Communicate business value and innovation potential through effective insights/visualizations.Define and create complex models to pull valuable insights, predictions, and innovation from data.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science disciplines or equivalent.Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) and services industry is good to have.Minimum 6 years of proven track record in directly related business / function.Proficient in data mining tools/skills like SQL, Python & visualization aids like Power BI, Tableau.Fluent in structured and unstructured data, enable modern data transformation methodologies.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, drive discussions & provide options at management levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
