Channel Development ManagerDescription -We are seeking a high energy and talented Channel Development Manager to lead Retail or Etail Consumer PCs business. The main objective of this role is to develop a compelling consumer PCs roadmap and portfolio to maximize revenue and profitability across all partner segments.The successful candidate will have consumer PCs’ retail, ecommerce, and or PC hardware expertise.   He/She needs to understand partners’ business strategies, end-users’ requirements, and the competitive landscape to develop an assortment/roadmap strategy and programs to enable the sell-in and sellthrough of HP’s notebooks, desktops and monitors. Responsibilities: Channel development manager is responsible for the creation consumer PCs product assortment and roadmap strategies to maximize revenue, margin and share.  Additional responsibilities include program negotiations, securing partner funding, and portfolio management to enable sell-in and sellthrough inventoryShe/he will engage with sales, product marketing, finance, and supply chain to develop product assortment, build business cases to enable promotions/merchandizing placements, and forecasting expertiseShe/He will also present and conduct regular business reviews, product presentations and financial reviews to senior management, merchants, and key stakeholdersShe/he will work closely with Intel, AMD, and MSFT to secure funding and execute program requirementsShe/He will advocate internally for Costco to maximize product offerings – unique configurations, supply, and promotional fundingShe/he will continually enhance product offerings and improve forecasting processes to maximize revenue, margin and shareEducation and Experience Required: University or Bachelors degree in Marketing or Finance; advanced degree or MBA preferred.Typically 8-12 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experienced preferred.Consumer and/or Commercial Partner management expertiseKnowledge and Skills: IT industry knowledge.Business planning skills, multidimensional.Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally.Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing.Job -SalesSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -25%Relocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
