In close relationships with internal teams, you will develop and drive projects to deliver the strategy, and you will provide regular reports to the local HP management team.You will help ensure HP product and services are compliant with environmental regulations and legislation in Austria, Switzerland and partially Germany through thorough monitoring, then relaying the relevant requirements to our product development business units. When useful, you will also engage with the regulating entities, and lead advocacy.One of your key roles will be to support our local sales and marketing teams, to ensure they can fully leverage HP’s sustainable impact strengths to demonstrate how we can best meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. You will also work directly with key customers to leverage HP’s products and services to support their goals and forge sustainability partnerships.You will support our channel partners in leveraging HP’s sustainable impact strengths.More broadly, you will develop a deep understanding of the relevant environmental and sustainability needs in Austria, Switzerland and partially Germany and convey these insights to HP decision makers as appropriate.The role may also include a regional (Europe-wide) Program Management aspect to drive important strategic initiatives.Finally, you will support HP’s local sustainable impact initiatives, to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work.To succeed in your mission, you will work closely with the rest of the Sustainable Impact organization (our EMEA team, our regional and global domain experts, etc.), as well as the HP country teams (business, sales, marketing, legal, government relations, communications, etc.), and external partners including trade associations. The role will be based in Germany, combined with the opportunity to work from home for part of the time, and when required you will also travel within the DACH countries for customer and compliance meetings, as well as some international travel for team meetings and events.Requirements & essential skillsPassion for sustainability and drive to make a positive difference.Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably with a business, sustainability or environmental focusMinimum of 1 to 5 years work experience, preferably in sustainability, business or project management.Capacity to think strategically to develop new ideas and a strong plan; and the leadership, negotiation and influencing skills to rally support from internal and external stakeholders to deliver on our objectives.Enthusiasm, ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German, including being comfortable with presenting to customers, speaking to policy makers, and engaging with senior management. Fluency in English is required for communication to all our internal stakeholders.Authentic customer service orientation combined with solid business acumen.Strong quality orientation.
