Events SpecialistDescription -Job Description:The Events Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and measurement of high-level, business critical events for HP Inc. This position collaborates closely with Senior Event Managers, internal partners, and external agencies to help organize domestic and international strategic events. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting complex events in a fast-paced environment with full understanding of the value of an integrated business structure among marketing, business units, and sales. Communications across various stakeholders is essential.This candidate must be able to work independently, prioritize assignments, and multi-task. Projects under management are time sensitive, involving frequent concurrent deadlines with dependencies on partner organizations. Therefore, collaboration, attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly is critical to keep programs moving effectively and efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate across teams to support initiatives led by the Corporate Events Team, ranging from branded events to sponsored events to internal events.Support multiple, simultaneous complex events in a fast-paced environment.Organize post-program deliverables, including event analysis, reports of budget, attendee feedback.Work closely with different vendor and partner contractors, tracking work back schedules and deliverables.Coordinate internal processes & deliverables (ie email support, campaign elements & documentation)Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a field related to experiential marketing or event management, or equivalent knowledge and experience.Minimum of 6 years of experience as event specialist ideally in a corporate setting. Experience in tech desired but not required.A full appreciation and understanding of event planning and logistics as it applies to all matters of events from pre-planning to post event evaluation.Superior written and oral communication skills.You can work both independently and in a collaborative team environment with ease.About HPYou’re out to reimagine and reinvent what’s possible—in your career as well as the world around you.
