Worldwide Category Product Manager: Hardware SolutionsDescription -Solutions are a key element of the value proposition of our products. We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for the HP Print Solutions portfolio, including the HP Smart App, HP Smart Admin Dashboard and HP Security Suite. This role will be responsible for managing the performance of HP Print Solutions in the market and driving adoption to deliver a superior customer experience within the HP Print ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing the 4Ps of the Smart Solutions to ensure business goals are met. This role included responsibility for mobile and desktop solutions (HP Smart) for our A4 printers as well as security solutions for our A4 and A3 printer portfolio. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert who can understand the technical teams but also can articulate in simple and marketable terms the value proposition and HP’s differentiation to the channel and sales teams. The main objectives are to help drive adoption of these solutions and to influence future versions. The role has a Worldwide scope and includes print security for Home, Small and Medium Business and Enterprise segments.Responsibilities:Ensures markets understand and use the print security value proposition to increase HW salesWorks with various stakeholders (Global Business Units, Channel, marketing teams) to ensure training and sales tools are available and adequate for the different customer segments and route-to-marketsManages communication to category and partners about new print security offerings (included in printers, software and Services)Develop subject matter expertise on the HP Print Solutions portfolio for mobile and desktop solutions, including product features and customer use casesEnsures markets understand and use the print security value proposition to increase HW salesWorks with various stakeholders (Global Business Units, Channel, marketing teams) to ensure training and sales tools are available and adequate for the different customer segments and route-to-marketsDrive adoption rates and ensure clear communication of product value proposition and customer benefits to category and partnersDevelop training material and communicate all strategy, product, and feature updates, and timelines and roadmaps to internal stakeholdersDeliver content as part of the new product introduction process, including product positioning and messaging (and pricing??)Collaborate with marketing, competitive intelligence, and business units to create assets, sales tools, and other deliverables to enable market teams to increase attachment throughout the product lifecycleTrack and report product issues/complaints to appropriate teams to address customer needs and drive product improvement and problem resolution.Act as the voice of the customer and identify unmet customer needs; work with future teams to ensure generational improvements.Works with quality and service teams to solve market escalations. Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholdersRepresent HP Print Smart Solutions as an expert in front of customers or partnersInfluences Global Business Units to ensure new security-related products, solutions and subscriptions/services are fit for contractual & transactional channels. Interprets market research and prioritizes needs for resolution.Education and Experience Required: College degree in Marketing/Business/ Technical.
