Digital Marketing Planning AnalystDescription -Come join our growing eCommerce Analytics team at HP! Our Digital Marketing team uses advanced analytics and media mix modelling to optimize our planning and decision-making processes. Using data science and machine learning models, this role will drive quarterly, weekly, and even daily flighting investment plans across the digital marketing channels (examples SEM, CSE, Affiliate). This role will work with marketing data science strategists, build optimization scenarios, and align with marketing channel managers to deploy the best plan. Intra month optimization analyses will be performed regularly. Will work closely with a senior Digital Marketing Planning Analyst Lead. Responsibilities for the Digital Marketing Planning AnalystLeads Digital Marketing Planning and Optimization process. Power user of the media mix planning tool and model evaluation used for scenario planning. Defines and/or implements Media Mix models and Multi-touch attribution models to uncover patterns and predictions that drive high performance marketing. Prepares and presents literature, presentations, that effectively communicate to either business, marketing analytics, or data science audiences. Manages and creates relationships with channel managers and digital marketing directors to foster data driven decision making. Communicates business value and innovation potential through effective insights/visualizations. Assures insights are communicated regularly and effectively, reviewing designs, models and accuracy and data compliance. Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and overall data systems leadership to influence decisions of executive business leadership, development partners, and industry standards groups. Requirements for the Digital Marketing Planning AnalystAbility to quickly learn new proprietary software tools Understands Mar-tech concepts and solutions across the tech-stack Understands eCommerce metrics and business model Demonstrated innovation in the digital marketing data science domain Extensive experience using statistics, mathematics, algorithms and programming languages to optimize digital marketing spend Fluent in structured and unstructured data, its management, and modern data transformation methodologies. Ability to define and create complex models to pull valuable insights, predictions and innovation from data. Effectively and creatively tell stories and create visualizations to describe and communicate data insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate data product architectures and/or algorithm design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels, BU and executive levels. Demonstrated self-starter, problem solver, ability to support a schedule of deadlines. Scope & Impact Collaborates with peers, junior engineers, data scientists and marketing team. Typically interacts with high- level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, and Program Core Teams.
