Our vision is to create technology that makes life better for everyone everywhere.We are looking for a Manager (f/m/d) to lead our international Advanced Computing Solutions (ACS) Category team in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) - we are open to all locations in CEE. The primary focus of the role will be to manage and develop the HP Workstation business, our aware-winning product portfolio with its related services, software and solutions. HP is the undisputed leader in the CEE Workstation market, and we have big ambitions to further expand that leadership position. The ACS Category manager is responsible for driving the strategic direction for that important product category as well as 4P planning & execution with her/his team of several individual Area Category Managers in the different CEE countries. Your responsibilities: Responsible for Profit & Loss and Portfolio management of the ACS products & solutions with focus on workstations.Influence and drive portfolio planning together with the WW product development team, and ensure the CEE market needs are reflected the best possible way.Drive the strategic direction of the ACS business in CEE to further grow our position and orchestrate all involved internal functionsWork closely with channel partners and key end customers, also aligned with the strategic initiatives of our business alliances partners.Manage a Category team in CEE (specialized on Workstations) that provides Market Analysis - Product Life Cycle management - Pricing Advocacy - Forecasting & Reporting - Business Control - Product Line development, through Education, Communication, and Sales Support.Facilitate communication between marketing and country customer facing/sales organizations.Manage internal sales support, selling and marketing processes in support of direct sales representatives and selling activities.Manage external communication with external partners/cooperations.Provide guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plan, direct and monitor operational/tactical activities of Staff.Maintain awareness of current economic and industry conditions.Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies.Recruit and support development of direct staff members.What do we expect? Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or other business/technical area.10+ years of experience in a category/product management role or similar field (sales support, product marketing).Demonstrated people management skills. Experience as team lead or ideally first management experience.Very good knowledge in IT and Personal Systems, ideally in workstation products and on the CEE market.Demonstrated success in the management of marketing and sales support programs.Proven success in achieving progressively higher marketing, sales and sales support goals.Demonstrated project management skills.Viewed as expert in marketing and sales support by company.Experience in Analytics/Forecasting/Budget Control Operations.Very good presentation and communication skills.Fluent in English (German a plus).Flexibility for frequent travel.What do we have to offer?HP is a is a proven front-runner in personal systems and printing and we are ranked among the Top 50 of “best global brands”.
