Communication RF EngineerDescription -The Communications Technology organization provides the strategy, analysis, direction, and implementation for communications solutions embedded in all HP products. Wireless technologies as WWAN modules (5G, LTE, WCDMA/HSPA, GSM/GPRS/EGPRS, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou), WLAN/BT modules, NFC/RFID, mmWave, UWB integration and certification.If you are our Communication RF Engineer in Taiwan, you will have a chance to Develop RF specifications, supporting documentation, and test plans for each new HP product & component.Analyze Chipset vendor, and/or module vendor, and/or ODM designs for compliance with specifications (ex.3GPP, IEEE 802), ability to point out performance issues. Clearly and concisely communicate with hardware/software test activities, issues, risks, milestones & contingency plans to the program manager, and management. Highlight relevant information that requires follow-up or attention.Support the Agency team to ensure all program regulatory deliverables are identified and met.Provide technical and process guidance to internal and external teams.  Create metrics to help track progress and facilitate predictable execution.  Look for ways to refine these processes to achieve continuous improvements and reduced costs.Manage the Platform ODMs execution of communications deliverables, test results, and ensure that any identified issues are properly tracked and resolved in a timely manner.Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Communication Engineering or related field of study, with a 6-10 years related experience.Strong RF background, both in theory and implementation. Experience and understanding of wireless communication technology (GPS, GSM, WCDMA, LTE and 5G) or WLAN/BT are MUST.  Experienced with 3GPP, PTCRB, GCF, FCC, CE certifications.Experienced with WWAN/WLAN RF front end architecture and key RF performance measurements, merits.Strong hardware troubleshooting capability with working knowledge of oscilloscopes, mobile radio call box testing, network analyzers.Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams as well as practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle.Proven experience working with matrix engineering teams as well as external suppliers and customers.Demonstrated experience coordinating the work of others to meet schedule and quality requirements.Ability to work with multi-tasks and provide clear and concise information to teams.Skills:Good knowledge of RF regulatory and PC architecturesGood knowledge of PCB layout rules and criteria for good RF designTeam player with good interpersonal, strong written and excellent verbal communications skills.Strong negotiation skills both with internal and external contactsExcellent team leadership and tactical execution skills.Strong commitment and self-motivationFluency in English#LI-POSTJob -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Taiwan)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
