Procurement and Planning SpecialistDescription -Job scope/summary:Procurement and Planning Specialist is responsible of third party products WW with main focus in EMEA region.Job specifics/responsibilities:Procurement and Planning Specialist will work with partner factories and third party suppliers to enable vendor and product setup as well as to follow end to end procurement and planning activities. Entitled to work with internal teams on matters like regulations, data management, accounts payables, order status, Supply planning, Inventory controls, returns, product life cycle among others with limited supervision.Key deliverables/accountabilities:Leads the analysis of a specific commodity data and industry trends or leads an individual supply chain sub- category; reports results to managers.Participates as a senior member on a cross-functional team (may lead specific projects).Meets with Stakeholder managers to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans; comprehends the industry and the Marketplace.Utilizes supply chain and financial modeling tools.Participates in Supplier Selection ActivitiesNegotiates and contracts with suppliers.Monitors supplier performance.Executes risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies.Advises program level business representatives on fundamental contract risk areas.Provides complex-level procurement support using subject matter expertise of a few technologies and knowledge of multiple technologies.Solves complex issues and drives tactical and strategic initiatives, such as leading process standardizations; executing program strategies; or coordinating integration of small acquisitions.Monitors programs, delivery solutions, key metrics, and process oriented tasks; identifies issues and proposed solutions with limited guidance.Collaborates with or leads teams to maintain and enhance the current business objectives, such as cost- management.Education (degree) and professional experience required:First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.Typically 4-6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.Experience in virtual team environmentOther requirements:Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.Strong analytical skills.Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and supply chain modeling skills.Strong knowledge and use of procurement tools and applications.Basic Project Management Skills.Basic ability to develop suppliersMastery in English and local language.Ability to create a contract using standard HP contract templates with supervision.Solid understanding of fundamental contracting principles.Personal skills and qualities:Strong communication skillsPositive can-do attitudeCustomer centric approach and negotiation abilities.Out of the box thinking – able to find solutionsStrong communication and influencing skillsExcellent teamwork skills Able to apply tools and technology to produce resultsAble to understand global business processes and identify impact of changeStrong teamwork and basic leadership skills; basic influencing skills.Technical skills (procedures and documents the employee has to be acquainted with):Strong SAP knowledge (S4-Hana preferred)We’re looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works.
